We are a group of inspired artists and producers with a long history of developing emerging forms of communications at the crossroads of music, art, media, technology and the human experience.
We are currently rolling through urban and rural areas in swing states to get out the vote, educate the public on the issues, and rally Obama supporters from now until the election on November 4, 2008.
We have access to an amazing tool for creating street actions – the stealth van – created by Neverstop. The stealth van is a VW Eurovan outfitted with a stealth projection unit that can project video content onto the side of a building. I have looked at your website and think you guys are having too much fun.
My advice regarding Albuquerque is this: Check in with the Flying Star restaurant chain. They also have coffee shops called Satellite. They have the night-time crowds that you are looking for. They may not have the buildings, however. Most of the tall buildings are downtown. Some are already lit. There may be some possible sites on the University of New Mexico campus. If you call the state headquarters, they should have the youth coordinator’s name and phone number. (505) 266-3556
We are focused on Get-Out-The Vote canvasses and phone calls. I wish you could have been here two weeks ago to help us recruit volunteers. I still think the show will attract attention and may encourage some folks to help us on election day.
